Where We Love / Donde Amamos

“Where We Love” recounts the stories of LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers fleeing from harsh repression in countries around the world. The play will help LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers find solidarity, support, and healing, while offering an entertaining and interactive means for audiences to learn and provide support.

Performances planned for 2021 (depending on the pandemic) in the San Francisco Bay Area in English and in Spanish. Currently interviewing LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers, as well as looking for community partners and venues for this production.

We are also seeking actors, set designers, painters, prop master, wardrobe master, roadies, sound and light crew, stage manager, funders, venue staff, sign language interpreters (ASL), and other volunteers to stage this new play.
